About:

Students at Newbridge Road Elementary School in the North Bellmore School District are collecting toys for the John Theissen Children’s Foundation’s annual holiday toy drive. Second-graders, from left, Hailey Mann, Sean Domiano, Angelina Abbondondolo, Peter Kokura and Natalie Artale showed off some of the items already donated. It is being coordinated by the student council under the direction of advisers Celeste Diogo, Laurie Harrington, Alison Hill and Amanda Schmitt. New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the school through Dec. 18.
